Remaping Packages
Car Remap Packages
Car remapping involves modifying or replacing the default software (firmware) in a vehicle’s Engine Control Unit (ECU) to enhance performance. The ECU controls engine functions, including fuel injection, ignition timing, and turbo boost pressure.
Purpose:
Remapping is typically done to increase engine power, improve fuel efficiency, or adjust the car’s performance to suit specific driving conditions.
Types of Remap Packages
Stage 1 Remap
A basic remap that optimizes the existing hardware of the vehicle for better performance without needing any physical modifications.
Stage 2 Remap
More aggressive tuning that may require additional hardware upgrades like a performance exhaust, intercooler, or air intake system.
Stage 3 Remap
Advanced remapping for heavily modified vehicles, usually involving significant changes to the engine and supporting systems.
